Amie Meleshkewich, E-RYT 200 (Registered Yoga Teacher (YA))
Certified Personal Trainer (AFAA)
Director & Founder Flow To Fit Yoga, LLC
Amie started practicing yoga twelve years ago and has never looked back. After her very first yoga class she experienced an immediate sense of relief and realized that yoga was the answer to a more peaceful, balanced life. In February 2010 she received her 200-hour yoga teacher certification from Lotus Gardens, LLC. She is also a registered instructor with Yoga Alliance.
In addition to being a dedicated yogi, Amie is also a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and Pilates instructor. She enjoys running, hiking and training in Krav Maga. She has completed a Tough Mudder, Spartan Beast and many other trail runs and road races.
Amie specializes in helping those recovering from an injury, surgery or dealing with chronic pain. She gradually increases the intensity of each workout to build strength slowly and mindfully preventing re-injury and setbacks. She also incorporates a little bit of yoga into every session.
Amie believes consistency and support are the two most important factors in achieving and maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.

"Amie is a fantastic yoga leader and personal trainer. I have been training with her for about two months and doing yoga-pilates with her for about two years. The yoga and training have made a positive difference in my strength, mood, flexibility, and appearance. I couldn't recommend her more highly." ~ Mary S.
"I have been working out and training with Amie for almost 18 months. She has been incredibly helpful before, during and after my hip replacement surgery last year. I continue to be amazed at how much research she did, and continues to do, to make sure I remain healthy and strong during my rehab. From the beginning we worked on core strength to maintain healthy before the surgery. Afterwards, we did months of restorative yoga and training. Now we are doing circuit training just a year after a total hip replacement!! Amie is always looking for new exercises and healthy lifestyle tips! I wish everyone could have a trainer like her! I love going to her classes and having her come to my house for my own training. I am much healthier and happier because of all the time and effort she puts into her work, her research and her training.
Thank you, Amie!" ~ Libby S.
"My daughter and i love the yoga-pilates fusion class - we're addicted! Amie is a great instructor and makes you feel very comfortable in her classes. She pays close attention to each person's physical limitations, which is a rare quality among the instructors I've experienced." ~ Ivy P.
"Overall, I think what distinguishes Amie from other teachers is her ability to teach to the range of abilities in the class. Without a lot of commentary, she observes how each student is doing, and quietly suggests modifications when necessary. Also, no class is ever the same, which makes each class different and fun. Amie challenges the class every session to try a new position or a new variation of one. The sense of accomplishment is genuine, and does indeed carry over to the rest of the day. "~ Mary T.
“After a neck injury in 2009 that changed my life forever, I spent every day dealing with pain that prevented me from performing some daily activities I had for years. Amie recommended I try yoga. She organized several private sessions for me and tailored the sessions around my neck injury to ensure I wouldn't overdo it but would also get the most benefit from it. After the first session I felt great. Amie took the time to teach me some techniques that I could also do at home. After a couple of sessions I felt I had more movement in my neck than I had in a long time. Amie was extremely professional and had clearly spent some time putting together these tailored sessions for me. I have since been taking one of her yoga sessions weekly and feel so much more flexibility and practice some of the techniques at home to continue improving. I have more energy now than I had in a long time and have incorporated the relaxation techniques into my daily routine as well. I would highly recommend Amie and Flow To Fit Yoga to anyone who either just wants to practice yoga to improve their lifestyle or needs a professional who can spend the time giving you a personal session tailored to your specific needs." ~Michele W.
"I am a regular participant in Amie's classes and enjoy her style of teaching. The yoga and pilates are a great combination of an exercise class mixed with a calming balance. I've taken classes with other teachers but Amie surpasses them all. Amie will challenge you so that you get better with each and every class.” ~ Heather C.

"I’ve been taking yoga with Amie for about a year now and I can definitely say that I feel more toned and stronger than ever. She mixes the class up with cardio, toning and yoga (using bands, weights, blocks & exercise balls) so it never gets boring. I highly recommend her classes." ~ Mary W.
"Amie is a good teacher and takes into account and reminds everyone not to push too hard, to do the best they can and to practice between classes. She is punctual and finish classes on time." ~ Ralph R.
"Amie has the ability to scale workouts to the diverse needs of her clients. I can go to her class knowing that I will be challenged to push myself harder than I think is possible, but at the same time, she will be coaching beginners and those with injuries to complete workouts at their level. She encourages all of her students to work with their own bodies at their own abilities!" ~ Jen R.
